Criteria of a Good Business Web Site

A successful business or e-commerce web site is built around a clearly established purpose. It is attractive enough to hold your viewers' attention while communicating your message. The site is designed to enable web search engines to return your site high (more on search engines) on a list generated from search enquiries. It provides for some form of contact. Web Business Philosophy

Something that is often overlooked by clients is who owns the copyright privileges to the site created for them (further discussion). If you plan to update the site yourself this is important. If you work with me to build a site, once I've been paid the site is yours. You are not tied to me forever for changes and updates unless updates are part of our original agreement.

Services

The Services Page lists elements I can use to build your web pages. Importantly for the success of your web business is the procedure I use to evaluate optimum textual content and structure for good search engine placement. This web positioning service is provided with all new sites I construct and as an additional service over longer periods of time.

Charges: $32/hour or a fixed fee based on an accepted project proposal (web positioning research is billed differently). A down payment of 25% of the amount agreed upon in the Project Work Agreement is due for new customers on their approval of the initial layout. Personal pages can be billed differently.
